Composting any colored paper has its drawbacks. Colored paper contains dyes, which are chemicals that we do not want in our compost...so NO COLORED CONSTRUCTION PAPER.
Check out the new compost tab. Read through the script and respond here. Example response: "I read the script" or "tab checked", something short just so I know you did your homework. If you do not respond to this post, do not attend the meeting on Tuesday. The guy who is building our double compost tumbler will be a guest at next meeting. We will fill the tumbler with yard waste from around the school and you can start bringing in compostable material starting March 19th! I will keep a running tab of homework completion: all you have to do is check out the new compost tab and post here that you have done so.
